“Norm!”

As we all know, given God’s gracious sovereignty there’s no such thing as “accidents” or “coincidences”, such simply don’t exist. So it was a double blessing when I was researching car batteries and “stumbled upon” a certain webpage which was such an immediate and immense (and ongoing) blessing to me that I just had to share it with you, my readers, here on the BibleMemory.ORG website:

Our brother in Christ Norm Miller is a great example of the power of the Bible to truly, tangibly, totally transform a life. From alcoholic at the bottom of the spiritual barrel to the very top of corporate America, that’s the Bible’s revolutionary power. (How fitting that he became the Chairman of a battery company.)
Powering vehicles is his secondary job in life. Powering vessels of a spiritual nature and instilling a sense of hope in everyday people and glorifying God is clearly his primary job and focus in life. After reading his life story and testimony via the link above, I’m sure you’ll agree that it has already been a job “well done” by that good and faithful servant, our fellow Bible-loving believer and brother, Norm Miller.
One of the main motivations and missions of BibleMemory.ORG is to encourage and make it as EASY as possible for folks to apply/obey the Bible, as that is the key to true blessing – not only in this life but also in the one to come… not only in the life to come but also in this one – and I’ve found that the key is to imitate Christ but that can be made much easier to do if we focus on imitating those who imitate Christ which is why the beloved Apostle Paul wrote this:
- “Be imitators of me, just as I also am of Christ.” (1 Corinthians 11:1)
- “Brethren, join in following my example, and observe those who walk according to the pattern you have in us.” (Philippians 3:17)
In other words, imitate Christ, imitate those who imitate Christ, and imitate those who imitate those who imitate Christ.
Praise the Lord for making it easier to imitate Him by giving us people who do such a good job modeling that behavior, provind that “pattern”.
